THE TWELVE SCRIPTURES PROJECT.
In 2013, Stahl dug deeper into the ideas of spiritual formation- specifically looking at our knowledge of God's Word and how to apply it into our lives and community. Members were asked the question, "What scriptures form us as a community, give us vision and purpose, tell us who we are?"
Collaboration took several weeks as we finely tuned our "Top 12" list. Throughout the year we incorporated these selected scriptures into our worship gatherings. Individual members shared their own personal reflections on verses. During Lent, we challenged one another to memorization and our "Twelve Scriptures Mural Project" began its shape. Our gathering times together went outside the church walls, as we worshipped outside to celebrate God's creation and "all who live in it."
These words inspire us, define us, and challenge us. Let's live out God's Word together.
