Our Mission offering for October is Mennonite Mission Network. We will have a representative here next Sunday, Oct 13th to share about what MMN is doing. MMN offers a variety of mission opportunities for people of all ages all over the world. Their mission statement: “We live in a fragmented world. Some of us suffer from economic and political oppression. Others find themselves enslaved to materialism or other false gods. Yet...we find hope in the promise that through Christ, God reconciled with all things, whether on earth or in heaven. (Colossians 1:19-20) As Christians, we are called to advance this reconciliation and peace. God invites us, Jesus sends us, and the Holy Spirit empowers us to share this message of reconciliation. God carries out this mission through local faith communities. Each member brings God’s love to the world, and each congregation serves as a place of God’s grace, joy and peace.
