UPCOMING EVENTS AND NEWS.After June 7 until August, Soap Hollow Road will be closed so you will need to allow extra time to take a detoured route to the church.
Please note that on August 5 we will not be meeting for worship in the building, but will be joining in the Allegheny Mennonite Conference Celebration of Congregations worship, 10:00 am at Laurelville Retreat Center in Mt. Pleasant, PA. If you want to attend and want to carpool, let Jayne know. There will also be a Hymn Sing on Friday at 7:00 pm. These are wonderful opportunities to join in a larger worship with people from all over our conference. You do not need to register for the Celebration weekend to join in worship times. Don’t forget about the Activity Table located in the back of the sanctuary, just under the nursery windows. There are supplies there for children as well as other creative folks to use to help engage the morning worship with paper, color, or other art supplies. Anyone of any age is welcome to see what is there to enhance your worship. Please return any unused supplies to the table after worship ends. |
