JESUS.

We are excited that you want to learn about Jesus, but it is a challenging conversation to have without sitting down face to face.  When Jesus introduces himself to people and tells people about the Good News of God (sometimes referred to as the "Gospel"), he shares the story differently to different people.

In essence, there are two very basic parts to the Gospel:

1. God loves you.  The Creator of the universe loves you just as you are.  There is nothing you can do to earn that love, and there is nothing you can do to diminish that love.

2. Once you are present to this love, God calls us to action.  God has work of kindness, love and compassion for us to do in the world.  We have work to do to make the Kingdom of Heaven more present on Earth.

These two things can seem contradictory, but they are part of any real committed relationship: unconditional love, and a call to action.  We call these two things Grace and Discipleship.
